Third-party components
The Software bundles several third-party components, whichare notpart of the proprietary above and each remains under its original license:
- Electron / Chromium / Node.js — MIT, etc.;
- yt-dlp — Unlicense (public domain);
- ffmpeg / ffprobe — GPL v3(built with --enable-gpl)。
FFmpeg and the Software interact asseparate executables invoked as processes (not linked, and its code is not modified), so the Software's proprietary terms do not extend to FFmpeg; at the same time, bundling and distributing FFmpeg requires fulfilling GPLv3 obligations — the notice, how to obtain the source, and the full list are in the package's THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES.md (also openable in-app via "Help → About CatFrame → View third-party licenses").
The Software must be used only to download content you have the right to download;see the Terms of Service。
